The 2026-27 season of the Fund for Irish Studies includes the following events:
- September 18, 2026 — Luke O’Neill (Trinity College Dublin), renowned Irish biochemist, immunologist, and author of bestselling accessible science books, reads from his work
- October 30 — Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and Princeton Professor of Creative Writing Yiyun Li reads from Music Against the Night, her new historical saga tracing the life of Irish composer/pianist John Field
- November 13 — Lecture by Peter Kelly, Galway native and Assistant Professor of Classics at Princeton, on the topic of Tim Robinson’s mapping of the Connemara landscape
- February 12, 2027 — Performance by Irish fiddler Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, who is lead vocalist for Irish folk music band Altan (in Taplin Auditorium)
- March TBA — Author, critic and scholar Fintan O’Toole delivers the annual Robert Fagles Memorial Lecture

Free tickets are required for all events. Tickets generally go on sale 3-4 weeks before the event date. Reserve tickets through University Ticketing.
All events begin at 4:30 p.m. in the James Stewart Film Theater at 185 Nassau St. in Princeton, New Jersey, unless noted otherwise.
