For the fall 2023 season, the Fund for Irish Studies offers a series of in-person lectures and events held on the Princeton University campus.
- September 15, 2023 — Diarmaid Ferriter (University College Dublin) lectures on the Irish Civil War
- October 27 — Barry McCrea (University of Notre Dame) lectures on “Language and the Irish Novel” followed by a reading from his novel-in-progress
- November 10 — Louise Kennedy, author of the award-winning novel Trespasses, lectures on “Trespasses: Fact, Fiction and Memory,” and reads from her work
- December 1 — Caoilinn Hughes, acclaimed writer and author of The Wild Laughter, reads from her work
Events are free and open to the public. No tickets or registration required. All events begin at 4:30 p.m. in the James Stewart Film Theater at 185 Nassau St. in Princeton, NJ, unless noted otherwise.
